Head of Logistics

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the site logistic functions for the cell and module factories including warehouses and all other relevant interface functions.
• Support the Company’s strategic ambition to be the world’s leading solar cell and module manufacturer.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of development and construction.
• Managing logistics operations effectively and efficiently (i.e., customer quote requests, vendor pricing, PO process, execution of PO and final delivery to customer; creating the existing process and tweaking it regularly to improve and accurately track budget versus actual by project).
• Responsible for establishing the schedule and budget of commercial and utility-scale solar construction projects and ensures that milestones and deliverables are met through the life of the project.
• Support the development, execution and optimization for solar projects as well as to assist in improving O&M efficiency post commissioning.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s / Masters in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 15 years of experience in distribution and logistics management, familiar with solar general practices and technologies, and with a proven record of planning and managing projects on time and within the budget.
• Ability to adapt and work with different cultures
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Based in India, Gujarat
